Brisk It, a Californian barbeque tech startup, has unveiled its outdoor grill Zelos 450 with built-in artificial intelligence capabilities at CES 2025. The new grill leverages the company’s brand-new AI technology to assist in all types of backyard grilling. Priced at $400, the Brisk It Zelos 450 smart grill is a compact unit and significantly sits on the affordable side than with other Brisk It AI-powered grills starting at $850.
This smart grill is an amazing device for BBQ enthusiasts. Zelos 450 automates the barbeque cooking process and comes with Wi-Fi for remote monitoring. The generative AI lets you create personalized recipes.
The new electric wood pellet smoker has a cooking area of 450 square inches, allowing you to prepare different varieties simultaneously. Its Wi-Fi connectivity allows for remote adjustment settings and monitoring of food as it cooks through a mobile app.
Brisk It’s Vera AI helps “monitor, control, and automate the cook” with just a push of a button. It also sends you notification updates on the cooking progress and prompts for chores like wrapping or spritzing water. In case you miss or ignore the reminders, the AI can automatically regulate the temperature to prevent food from getting burnt.

With the latest upgrades to Vera, Zelos 450 features Smart Image Recognition that uses photos of ingredients to create recipes. The Recipe Re-creation feature can turn existing recipes into versions that can be automated on the grill. You can put food photos from Instagram or Pinterest on the grill, and the generative AI can tell you how to prepare them.
Thanks to its 180 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit temperature range, Zelos 450 can slow-cook delicate foods and offer high-heat grilling. Brisk It Zelos 450 smart grill will be available for purchase in Q1 2025.
