Motive of HCWD Studio, a New York-based design studio, behind designing this lamp is to redefine user experience of daily objects and relationship of human scale, space and landscape.
Brick lamp is a functional and simplified lighting object which activates when raised on and deactivates when laid flat; a perfect replacement for power buttons. The LED lamp comes with power cord, which charges the built-in lithium-ion battery. Once fully charged, the battery promises to last for five hours and the shield circuit disconnect automatically to avoid electricity wastage. The perfectly engineering is responsible for equal distribution of weight allowing it to stand both vertically and horizontally.
Available in three different materials, i.e., walnut wood, concrete and aluminum, the lamp measures 19cm x 13.5cm x 4.2cm and comes with 3-watt warm LED bulb powered by a 4000-mAh lithium-ion battery. The charge is supplied by USB cable.
