The Borea collection of outdoor seats and tables by Italian designer Piero Lissoni for B&B Italia is expanded with two new products. Contemporary and eclectic, these new outdoor pieces also feature a unique airplane-inspired appearance like the previous designs in the family. This outdoor furniture comprises tubular metallic structures with no visible joints which gives them a distinctive character and style.
Piero Lissoni said, “We have created two types of sun loungers: the first, like the rest of the family, is a little like planes that have just landed and are for sunbathing by the pool or on the beach. The others are two somewhat mysterious objects, like two large eggs, that can be sun loungers or even become sofas or chaises longues.”
The Borea collection now includes two different types of sunbed loungers. The first one is the Borea sunbed which is a sun lounger with a frame in curved aluminum tubes. Equipped with a reclinable backrest and mattress, the Borea sunbed is designed to provide utmost comfort.

The other one is named Borea sunbed lounge and has an elongated form. It is available in two versions: chaise lounge and sofa, both feature a large section of a reclinable back. The chaise longue becomes an island with multiple uses just by lowering the back.
It’s notable that the Borea collection uses recycled and recyclable materials to promote sustainability.
