Waterfront homes are an epitome of luxury and probably one of the most popular residential properties around the world. Living by a waterbody may be a dream for many but just imagine the beauty of living in a private villa right in the middle of a mountain lake – it’s going to be an experience beyond a dream. German 3D designer Benjamin Springer of Exorbitart has actually visualized one such luxury floating home for his non-commercial project that will leave you excited.
Dubbed “The Shelter”, this luxury floating house is conceived in 2 weeks. The main inspiration behind the project is a lake shot by Michael Schauer that sparked the idea of a luxury home floating over its water surface.
The secluded location with access only through a boat has allowed the designer to realize the creative possibilities with a home. Privacy should not be a matter of concern in such a place so complete glass walls are a great addition, which maximizes the views and brings loads of sunlight into all the living spaces. Curtains are included for shading purposes.
The interior design is highly appealing and inspirational, with all the living areas located in a swirling line running through the center of the squarish house and there are wooden decks on the remaining two sides. Inside, wood-inspired textures add a contemporary vibe to the interior design while modern facilities ensure comfort.
