Backcountry Hut Company specializes in prefab tiny cabins that can be placed in remote locations to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle just like home. Now the company is foraying into something different with the System S – it is a freestanding sauna with a compact footprint of 8’ x 10’. The growing Nordic sauna culture is the main source of inspiration for this.
This sauna cabin is lined with sustainably sourced clear cedar and has a two-level bench system that comfortably seats six adults inside. Clad in painted steel, System S is designed to withstand extreme weather conditions.
It includes a Tylo Sense Pure 8 heating system to maintain a cozy temperature in any climate. There is also a wide double-glazed window in the front to let users experience views of the surrounding area while comfortably enjoying inside.
