Stockholm Design Week this year created much hype with various creators coming together to display interesting furniture and lighting fixtures. In the lighting segment, Swedish brand Pholc surprised everyone with its Apollo Lamp Collection. Comprising two: Apollo 14 and Apollo Zero lamps. The sophisticated Apollo lamps have a sleek and non-intrusive design. They both boast conical shapes like most Apollo models developed by Pholc in the past. These lamps have been designed by Broberg & Ridderstråle for Pholc.
Apollo 14 wall lamp is made using aluminum that can be mounted as fixed installations in a variety of spaces. It gives a plush vibe with its inverted cone-shaped design. Apollo 14 makes perfect lighting pieces for living rooms, offices, bars, hotels, and restaurants. It has a diameter of 18 cm, height of 14 cm, and width of 12.5 cm. One unique aspect of Apollo 14 is that the lamp can be installed to face upward or downward depending upon the lighting requirement of your space.

The other lighting fixture in the Apollo lamp collection is Apollo Zero which is a pendant lamp. Like Apollo 14, it is also made from aluminum and measures 12.5 in diameter and 10 cm in height. It can be mounted like a ceiling cup or terminal block to complement any modern interior with its interesting design and finish.
Broberg & Ridderstråle have done a great job in designing Apollo lamps. Both feature contemporary and sleek designs and bring out the beauty of aluminum as a raw material. These lamps also have a traditional inspiration from fixtures popular in the late 20th century. The blend of traditionalism and modernity thus finds a place in the dynamic design of the Apollo lamp collection.
