With the ongoing pandemic, there is an increasing demand for air purifying products. Designers from all over the world are trying hard to cope up with this trend and the Chinese company ASA Innovation is also launching Airluna as their creative response. It is an air-purifying lamp that is claimed to purify the air up to three times faster than traditional air purifiers.
Described as a lamp that breathes; Airluna uses Plasma Assisted Catalytic Oxidation (PACO) technology to break down and destroy dangerous particles commonly found in indoor environments. Unlike traditional filters, PACO does not contain gaseous pollutants rather transforms them into harmless compounds.
PACO filters are said to last 20 times longer than normal filters, which will save time, money, and ensure cleaner air quality for a longer time. The air cleaning functionality is powered by an ultra-quiet DC brushless motor. The unit also has 1,200 lumens dimmable LED lighting with 15,000 hours of life span.
Airluna lamp monitors air quality and alerts users when purification is needed and there is a need to replace the filter. Users can conveniently control the features using the companion mobile app, even while away from home.
