Inspired by the relation between light and time, India-based industrial designer, and photographer Adil Lokhandwala has created Saturn luminarie to once again couple light with time.
It is a suspended lighting fixture designed to bring stylish illumination to your space while telling the time in a different way. It looks like a sculptural pendant light when seen from a distance, but a closer look reveals that it also serves as a ceiling clock. Two stationery perpendicular rings in the center of the lamp represent specific spots for 12, 3, 6 and 9 while rotating arms with four stepper motors indicate the time.
