Attracting customers with their mindful designs, tiny house manufacturers are constantly bringing unique features to up the ante. Ad Astra tiny house is no different as it boasts a unique storage integrated staircase featuring a vivarium and dedicated cat space for the owners’ pets.
Built by Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses, this compact tiny house measures 24 feet long and sits on a double-axle trailer. Latin for “To the Stars’, Ad Astra takes the owners for a joy ride with utmost comfort in this custom-made tiny house structure.
A fold-down deck can be raised and lowered manually, which spells out as one of the main attractions of this mobile dwelling. The deck can be folded up against the walls of the house for easy maneuvering. Huge wooden compartments at the rear of the house come in handy for storage of large items.
Creating a versatile and compact living space, the tan exteriors with white sliding windows create a beautiful finish. Cedar lap sidings and recycled corrugated metal wainscot add to the structure’s sturdiness. Ad Astra has several storage options throughout the house including cabinets, sofa and other furnishings spread across the space.

Ad Astra Tiny House features dual sleeping lofts. One of them is accessed through a staircase that has an integrated vivarium. The other loft, accessed through a ladder, is spacious enough for a queen-sized mattress. Boasting beautiful wooden interiors, the house has modern amenities for a comfortable stay throughout the year. Just for the record, Astra’s interiors are a tad bit influenced by the Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses’ most beautiful make, the Pequod.
