I say so after watching his DIY videos and projects. This DIY modular succulent planter is the latest example that proves his mettle. He completed this project using traditional woodworking tools. He used Incra T-Rule, Gorilla Gripper and Arm R Seal Urethane for final finishing.
If you are planning a similar project, you need to cut intricate wood pieces that make a triangle measuring 4.5″ x 1.75″ with 60-degree bevels on each end. It can be done with a table saw or manually using a hand saw but you need to ensure equal length and width for wooden cut-outs completing the triangular modular planter.
If you’re using a table saw, tilt the blade to about 60-degree to cut bevels on wood pieces. Right after you’ve cut rabbets on wood pieces, cut the bottom pieces from a plywood sheet using a band saw.
Now, glue all the wooden pieces in a triangular shape and use rubber bands to hold them tight. Next, you need to glue the bottom pieces and finally sand all the triangles for a smooth appearance and finish them in the desired manner. And your planters are ready. You can use them as snack holders as well.
