Some time ago we stumbled upon the cute, quirky and uniquely-shaped towel warmers and radiators made by Italian designer Monica Freitas Geronimi of design studio mg12. Another one of their stunning creations is Cobogo collection of gypsum room dividers which includes three different versions. Inspired by the modular elements of the Brazilian architecture of the 50’s, all these freestanding room dividers consist of modular blocks that are stacked together to create temporary wall partitions in any space. You can create unique dividing walls by assembling these blocks in many different ways to get privacy and beautiful visual effects.
Three types of room dividers are available – Cobogo Frammento, Cobogo Vintage, and Cobogo Leone. All of them offer nearly the same functionality, but there are differences in patterns through which light passes to create stunning shading effects. Once you setup a wall partition using these modular blocks, the big hollow spaces in between the building blocks create ventilation and let in light. These see-thru room dividers are built from portable building blocks that can be stacked in different configurations.
It’s a bit like Lego but the blocks are much bigger which makes it easy to build partition walls to separate spaces in style. Whether you’re looking for an interesting way to partition space in your living room or loft, the Cobogo collection of room dividers makes it a snap. All these modular room dividers not only helps get most out of your space but also works as a patterned work of art.
Though there are differences in design details, all three modular room divider versions are available for €38 (US$46) at the official website.
