Dyson introduces a new version of Hot + Cool air purifier with a more advanced filtration system to trap harmful gases. Dubbed Pure Hot + Cool Link, this version of the air purifier has next-genration filters with an extra layer of activated carbon coated with Tris, an antimicrobial agent for enhanced purification. The previous version of the purifier was able to trap only smoke and dust, but this one is capable of trapping hazardous gases like formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, and naphthalene.

The purifier has Wi-Fi for connectivity so that you can control it remotely from your smartphone using the dedicated mobile app. It monitors the air quality of your home and automatically increases purification strength if it finds a surge in air pollutants. It automates the process of setting the indoor temperature by sensing the home environment.
Dyson is introducing Amazon Alexa support in its purifier for the first time, which means you will be able to control it with your voice commands, but this feature is said to be coming soon.
The air purifier comes in tower and desktop versions. The tower Pure Hot + Cool Link costs $499 and comes only with the cooling fan. The desktop Pure Hot + Cool Link, on the other hand, costs $599 and features both hot+cold features with purification prowess. Both purifiers are available on Amazon.
