Vobot is all set to showcase it’s first Alexa-enabled alarm clock at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The Vobot alarm clock is customizable and can play white noise, natural sounds, and other desired tunes to get you in the right mood to sleep or wake you up pleasantly. The internal 5W speaker helps in making sound clear around the room without connecting the device to any external amplifiers.
With built-in Alexa voice support, you can use the clock to interact with other smart devices like Philips Hue, Nest, etc, and also request an Uber or order a pizza through voice commands. There is no external button on the clock, and it’s meant to be controlled totally by your voice and movements. You can touch the clock to activate its voice feature and cover it to stop the alarm or flip to snooze.
It starts your morning with the latest news, weather, and sports updates. The compact design of the clock is quite convenient for the users to place it at any desired location – be it bedroom nightstand, kitchen counter, living room or any other place.
Moreover, the companion smartphone app is available for both Android and iOS devices. This means homeowners can easily access it from any place within Wi-Fi range. At $35, Vobot alarm clock is a cost-effective device with sleep coach program, pre-set wakeup and bedtime solution for the users to fall asleep faster and wake up earlier. It is expected to hit online shelves this February.
