Louis XIII Holdings Limited has built ‘The 13’ hotel at Macau with a cost of $1.4 billion, and they are designating it the tag of world’s most expensive hotel built ever. With this cost estimation, each room of the hotel costs $7 million each. This most expensive hotel in the world is going to open in late summer this year.
The hotel is designed in a combination of Baroque and contemporary styles with a lot of luxurious bespoke features including 200 splendid multi-level villas, branches of famous brands like L’Atelier, L’Ambroisie, Paris institution of Michelin 3-star haute cuisine and other limited edition luxury products.
Villa du Comte is stretched over 2,000 square feet area, and it is just the entry level accommodation of the hotel. The 30,000 square feet Villa de Stephen named after Stephen Hung, the Co-Chairman, is the largest villa in the hotel. Every design detail of hotel like Baroque artwork, sculptures, fabrics, wall accents, furniture, etc. is designed by talented designers in the supervision of Mr. Hang.
They designed Villa du Comte, a one bedroom split level villa that is furnished all round with Diamond series furniture, and a Roman Bath beautifully designed under vaulted Baroque ceiling decked with crystal chandelier. They designed the Roman bath so that it can be covered with retractable marble floor when it is not being used. However, there is also a spacious bathroom beneath art covered ceiling lit with standing candelabra. To ensure utmost privacy, the hotel includes a private elevator that directly opens in personal lobbies. Furthermore, the 24-hour butler service and Rolls Royce transportation maximizes its hospitality standards.
