Ukraine-based architect and industrial designer Ivan Zhurba has created iPhone Lamp, which lets you use your old Apple phone in a creative way. The minimally designed lamp uses flashlight and sound of your iPhone’s and convert them into light and audio source.
The skillfully designed lamp sources the light from the flashlight of your old iPhone, which can be easily fitted into a thin apparatus specially designed to hold the iPhone. The lamp is compatible with older versions of Apple iPhone like 4, 4s, 5 and 5c..
Resembling alphabet “C” the lamp is incorporated with acoustic tunnel that helps in amplifying the sound, while small crack on the top provide ample space for LED light to pass through. The design also provides space for charging cable, thus keeping your phone charged while listening to music or using it as a lamp.
Currently, working on latest version for iPhone 6, Zhurba also made his design using 3D printing, hence giving people flexibility to print lamp through Kwambio 3D blueprint marketplace.
