It keeps your home office fresh while you work.
The ASUS Fragrance Mouse MD101 features an internal bottom compartment for a refillable vial that can be filled with aromatic oils. The removable vial can be washed and refilled with scents of your choice, which is one of the biggest perks of it. The vial automatically releases the scent while you move it over the pad. You only have to use oils meant for reed diffusers, ultrasonic diffusers, and aroma stones in the device.
The only concern coming to mind is that will it be releasing the aroma continuously. If yes, the vial will be empty sooner. There are no ways to control the amount of the scent. So literally, the vial will release an equal amount of scent every time, which can be unnecessary sometimes. When working on a computer, a mouse is moved constantly, which will possibly affect the amount of scent released.
As for the computer mouse, it boasts a contemporary and ergonomic design, available in Iridescent White or Rose Clay finishes to match different home office themes. There is also delicate underglow lighting for a unique look.
The mouse has three adjustable DPI levels at 1200dpi, 1600dpi, and 2,400dpi for adjusting the sensitivity as per different needs. The idea is really cool but if you want a pleasant smell at the work desk, you can simply put an aroma diffuser. A computer mouse may not be the ideal computer accessory to incorporate an aroma diffuser. It may suit the people who keep looking for unique items.
The ASUS Fragrance Mouse MD101 measures 103.6L x 62.4W x 40.2H mm and weighs 66g without battery and essence oil. ASUS has released no details about pricing and availability yet.
