When the tiny house movement goes down in the annals of history, the most remembered names would be Tumbleweed, Modern Tiny Living, Minimaliste, Baluchon, and Movable Roots. But it doesn’t mean that the movement is only carried forward by these builders. Many tiny house builders might not have a strong digital presence but have built hundreds of tiny homes for mobile living enthusiasts.
Ohio-based Maverick Tiny Homes is one such name that has been building tiny dwellings for years but never garnered much attention from media houses. With not so many tiny homes being unveiled at this time of the year, we decided to cover one of Maverick’s creations that offers a luxury living experience to the dwellers.
Dubbed Quantum tiny house, the mobile home measures 8 feet in width, while its length may vary from 14-22 feet, depending on user preference. Designed to maximize space and comfort, this innovative home is built on a double-axle trailer, making it easy to transport and adaptable to a variety of lifestyles.
The exterior of the tiny home is outfitted with a Panel-Loc 29 gauge metal roof, while the LP SmartSide siding enhances both the structure’s resilience and its visual appeal. The white vinyl-insulated windows provide excellent thermal insulation and allow natural light to fill the space.
The mobile home features a robust wooden framing structure. To ensure year-round comfort, the home is equipped with foam floor, wall, and ceiling insulation that reaches up to an R-33 rating. This high level of insulation ensures energy efficiency, keeping the interior cozy in the winter and cool in the summer.
Inside, the Quantum tiny house boasts a natural aesthetic with pine tongue and groove walls and trim, adding warmth and texture to the living space. The Happy Feet Thrive flooring provides a durable and stylish foundation throughout, while custom cabinetry and a butcher block countertop bring functionality and rustic charm to the kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen, it features an electric cooktop and an electric water heater tank to ensure you can prepare meals and have hot water at the ready without compromising on space or convenience.

The bathroom is at the rear and is designed for comfort and practicality with a standing shower and a traditional flush toilet. The Quantum tiny house maximizes vertical space, offering a loft area that can be accessed either by a ladder or a built-in staircase, depending on your preference and available space. The loft provides a cozy sleeping area.
For those looking to add extra features or refine their space further, a range of optional upgrades is available. These include a fiberglass entry door, built-in toe-kick drawers, and a solid surface countertop. Other upgrades include an electric wall oven, microwave, and dishwasher, which make the kitchen even more functional. Some other add-ons that come at a premium price include a gas instant water heater, an all-in-one washer/dryer, and a 43-inch Samsung TV. A retractable 3-blade ceiling fan and pendant lights enhance the atmosphere and overall aesthetic of this thoughtfully designed tiny home.
With customizable options and a solid foundation built to last, the Quantum tiny house represents the future of tiny living. It combines modern technology and natural materials to create a home that is functional and beautiful.
