With winter shrouding the northern hemisphere, we have had a serious lack of new camper trailers. But that’s not the case Down Under, where it is prime summer and camper trailer manufacturers aren’t shying from introducing new models. A case in point, the A1 Star Vision camper trailer designed by Star Vision Camper Trailers is up for grabs on the company’s official website.
The 12-foot off-road beauty is designed for families or solo explorers who want the freedom to travel light without sacrificing comfort or convenience. Lightweight (3,968lbs ATM) and easy to tow, the camper trailer has features to make off-grid camping a breeze.
The A1 Star Vision has a hot-dip galvanized steel chassis, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance in harsh conditions. It has a coil spring, independent trailing arm suspension combined with mud terrain tires (265/75R16), and 16-inch alloy rims that provide excellent traction and stability on rugged landscapes.
One intriguing feature is the addition of a 200W-mounted solar panel to the trailer’s roof. This allows the user to stay powered up even while exploring remote areas. To procure power from the panels, the trailer comes equipped with a 135Ah LiFePRO+ 12V Lithium Iron Phosphate battery that ensures you have plenty of power to run essential appliances and electronics. When you need an extra boost of energy, the 2000W power inverter ensures your devices and appliances stay powered up.
For cooking, the camper comes with internal cooking facilities, including a Thetford 3 LPG gas burner cooktop. The 14L Truma UltraRapid gas-operated hot water system ensures that you’ll have hot water for showers, dishes, or simply washing your hands, no matter how far you are from the nearest campground. To ensure your off-road adventures aren’t curtailed, the trailer features a couple of 100-liter freshwater tanks.
Beyond technical prowess, the A1 Star Vision also includes a queen-size mattress, which provides a restful and spacious sleep environment. The camper comes with a club lounge that can convert into a bunk bed, making it an excellent option for families with young children. This multifunctional lounge not only serves as a place for relaxing but also adds extra sleeping space when needed, offering a flexible living arrangement.

Taking cues from South African trailer manufacturers, Star Vision Camper Trailer has added an inflatable, fully enclosed annex to the mix. This easy-to-set-up annex provides additional living space, perfect for dining, relaxing, or simply hanging out. It also includes an ensuite for added privacy and convenience. To say the least, the compact trailer has been indeed turned into a full-blow campsite.
Other features include LED lights inside and out, an external shower tent, and plenty of storage for all your gear. Speaking of storage in particular, the trailer includes a couple of gas bottle holders, two 20L Jerry can holders, and a spacious toolbox to keep your essentials secure. While we have already discussed the two 100-liter freshwater tanks, it’s worth mentioning that the trailer also features an 80-liter greywater tank.
The A1 Star Vision comes with optional upgrades like a TV, chest fridge, diesel heater, and power upgrades. The good news is you can avail the trailer for AUD 37,990 (US $23,700). The bad news is, that it’s only available in Australia for the time being.
