LG Electronics Korea has unveiled a new massage chair equipped with its Affectionate Intelligence that uses AI to create personalized experiences for users. The new Arte UP massage chair also comes with a subscription service that offers free replacement of leather on pillow, back, and hip areas, and back cushion after three years. The chair integrates massage functionality in a lounge chair design that will go well in a modern home.
This chair utilizes massage balls that move in six directions: up, down, left, right, forward, and backward to create different kinds of sensations in the body. The balls replicate techniques like kneading, acupressure, tapping, rolling, and mixed motion on the body.
The Arte UP has new courses such as an AI course, mind care course, and sleep care course. The AI course learns from previous massage courses of the user and automatically adjusts the massage settings. The user can now execute the AI course without the hassle of setting up a massage course every time.
Furthermore, the Mind Care Course and Sleep Care Course are equipped with brainwave stabilization sounds that induce stability and deep sleep. They are useful for people suffering from stress or insomnia. The Mind Care Course focuses on easing neck and shoulder tension, while the Sleep Care Course gently massages the entire body for a restful sleep. The user can even use the LG ThinQ app to add new massage functions to the chair.
