CES 2025 was bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever. It had its fair share of TV technology upgrades, jaw-dropping projector designs, some unconventional gadgets, and even a few adorable robots. At Homecrux, we tried covering every smart home device showcased at the event. Now that the excitement has settled, it’s time to spotlight the standout smart home innovations we saw at CES 2025. From wireless OLED TVs and foldable projectors to smart kitchen gear and health monitoring mirrors, here’s our curated list of the 25 best smart home devices from CES 2025.
SwitchBot K20+ Pro
I have had a bittersweet relationship with Switchbot over the years. From lending us its impressive curtain openers and robot vacuums for review to delaying sending the much-anticipated SwitchBot Air Purifier Table, the company has kept us engaged. At CES 2025, I was eagerly waiting for a big reveal, and SwitchBot didn’t disappoint. The company unveiled SwitchBot K20+ Pro, a multitasking household robot that vacuums, organizes, purifies air, monitors pets, and even serves food while you relax. I can’t wait to get my hands on this versatile robot.
Withings Omnia Smart Mirror
Every year, CES showcases some truly groundbreaking gadgets, leaving me wondering why companies don’t produce multiple prototypes. So when Withings unveiled its conceptual product called Omnia, I was left in awe of how amazing the product was but was disheartened as there were no samples yet. Withings’ Omnia is an AI-powered, full-length, smart mirror that provides a full health assessment. Though it looks like a decorative smart mirror and is a great reminiscent of other smart workout mirrors you’d spot, Omnia holds much more value. Omnio provides 360-degree health screenings, covering heart health, nutrition, body composition, lung function, and sleep. The conceptual mirror uses an AI voice assistant for real-time feedback, which can potentially send your reports to a medical professional for review.
Roborock Z70 Vacuum Cleaner
Among a gaggle of robot vacuum cleaners unveiled at the CES 2025, the star of the show was the Roborock Saros Z70 robot vacuum. Equipped with a five-axis mechanical arm, the Z70 can remove small obstacles like toys, socks, and napkins before cleaning your floors. In addition to picking dirty laundry, Saros Z70 boasts 22,000Pa suction power, a dual anti-tangle system for its roller brushes, and dual spinning mops that can lift 2.2cm to avoid carpet.
Dreame X50 Ultra Robot Vacuum
Robot vacuums rarely end up garnering more attention at CES, an event that is generally overshadowed by TVs, but that wasn’t the case this year. Alongside Saros Z70 another Robovac that left us impressed was Dreame X50 ultra robot vacuum. With its two extendable legs, the X50 Ultra can climb obstacles up to 2.4 inches high. The vacuum also boasts a high suction power of 20,000Pa, an extendable side brush for detailed cleaning, and MopExtend RoboSwing, which helps clean corners and edges thoroughly.
LG StanbyMe 2
When I first saw LG StanbyME at CES 2022, I was happy to be the one to cover it. So naturally, when my teammate beat me to cover the LG StanbyMe 2 at CES 2025 I was a little dismayed. The South Korean company is doing everything with StanbyMe that a tech lover would want. First, LG put a height-adjustable stand to it and now added a carrying strap. LG StanbyMe 2 was one of the biggest hits of CES 2025. On the design side, its compact size blurs the line between a TV and a tablet while on the tech front, the TV boasts a screen resolution of 1440p. Had it not been for the battery that only lasts for 4 hours, this would have been an absolute banger.
LG Evo G5
If you thought StanbyMe 2 was the only TV that left an impact at the grandest tech show of the year, you are mistaken. LG made a strong statement at CES 2025, unveiling its OLED Evo TV lineup for the year, with the LG G5 leading the charge. Building on the success of last year’s LG Evo G4, which was one of our favorites, the G5 is a major upgrade. It is 40 percent brighter than the G4, already one of the brightest OLEDs available, making it a significant advancement in OLED technology. Additionally, with 165Hz VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Nvidia G-Sync, it’s an ideal choice for serious gamers.
ZIP Trifold Projector
Entertainment technology brand Aurzen has its plans and priorities set right. As soon as CES 2025 ended, the company launched its tri-fold projector on Kickstarter. To those who have missed the news, ZIP is a mini projector that folds into a Z-shape, making it easy to position. While its 100 ANSI lumens brightness and 720p native resolution may not compete with some of the larger projectors at the event, the portable size and unique design make it an interesting option for on-the-go entertainment.
LG PF600U 3-in-1 projector
Speaking of projectors at CES 2025, it is hard to ignore LG’s PF600U 3-in-1 projector. The device triples as a projector, Bluetooth speaker, and LED mood lamp, and can tailor any room’s ambiance to the user’s preferences. As evident from the pictures, the projector’s design is inspired by a floor lamp boasting a circular base and upright pole supporting a 110-degree tilting head with automatic screen adjustment for projecting images onto a nearby wall.
Displace TV
Displace TV has been in the home entertainment scene for quite some time. After a grand day out at CES 2023, there was not much we heard from the company. A couple of years later, Displace made its CES comeback and showcased its battery-powered OLED panel that sticks to the wall, courtesy of its suction cups. But the wireless OLED didn’t come alone. It was accompanied by a detachable Displace soundbar and a pair of speakers with built-in batteries.
Govee‘s Table Lamp 2 Pro
Based out of Hong Kong, famous lighting brand Govee also had a slew of announcements to make at CES 2025, but my personal favorite was Govee Table Lamp 2 Pro x Sound by JBL. This smart lamp integrates both audio and visual elements, syncing light effects with your favorite music. It features 210 individually controlled LED beads, offering a broad spectrum of vibrant colors or adjustable white light, from warm to cool. It is portable, rechargeable, and perfect for any setting from your bedside to a campsite.
Victrola Wave Turntable
A turntable rarely grabs limelight at CES but this year’s edition was an exception. US-based turntable manufacturers Victrola announced a stylish entry-level turntable dubbed Wave at CES 2025. Wave makes it more convenient than ever to create a Hi-Fi sound system. It offers plenty of connectivity, including built-in Bluetooth and support for aptX Adaptive and aptX HD streaming. What sets it apart is its Auracast audio-sharing feature, which lets you stream vinyl to any Auracast-ready speakers or headphones in your home, making it a dream for vinyl enthusiasts.
Plantaform Smart Indoor Garden
One of the best smart home devices we saw at CES 2025 was the Plantaform Smart Indoor Garden. The indoor garden brings fogponics to your home with a sleek, automated design. It has a gardening system that uses fog and water to nurture plants. The fine mist delivers nutrients to the plants while colored lights help your kitchen garden grow. You can grow herbs, vegetables, and flowers year-round in this countertop gardening system. Its compact size is ideal for urban dwellers who want to grow fresh produce without outdoor space.
Elvie Rise Baby Bouncer
There has been an immense rise in baby and childcare gadgets over the years. However, it is to be noted that it takes a certain amount of trust to let a smart device care for your baby, and this is where Elvie’s latest gadget rises to the occasion. Elvie introduced Rise, an app-controlled, multifunctional baby bouncer, and bassinet that can transform from one to the other without any physical effort on your part. Its motion technology learns your baby’s preferred movements and loops them for comfort, while the companion app also tracks the baby’s sleep.
Kirin Electric Salt Spoon
One of the biggest surprises of CES 2025 was the Kirin Electric Salt Spoon. It was so unexpected that nobody saw it coming, and then just like that it became the talk of the show. The spoon adjusts the taste of food by using a light electronic current to make food taste saltier without adding any sodium. This innovative product is designed to help control salt intake, addressing global health concerns related to excessive sodium consumption. I find the product fascinating and hope the company will soon engineer a spoon to tackle sugar intake as well.
Lymow One Lawn Mower
When I covered Lymow One Lawn Mower as a Kickstarter campaign, I didn’t think that it would become such a rage at CES 2025. Unlike traditional lawn mowers, Lymow One eliminates tires. Instead, it sports track treads (tank wheels) and mulching blades for easy mobility and smooth mowing. The lawn mower also boasts ‘cutting-edge RTK-VSLAM navigation technology’ to help ensure that Lymow One does precise positioning without the need for boundary wires.
Ultraloq Bolt Mission
CES 2025 was turned into a warzone by smart lock manufacturers. Gone are the days when someone needed a pin or thumbprint to open the door. It’s the day and age of touchless smart locks and Ultraloq seemed to have won the battle, at least for now. While we’ve seen everything from fingerprint locking to palm recognition locks in this year’s CES, this is the first smart lock to support UWB (ultra-wideband) technology, allowing it to detect your location with pinpoint accuracy, just like a car key fob. Apart from this cutting-edge feature, the devices offer six other ways to unlock, including NFC tap-to-unlock, voice control, a keypad, and even a traditional key.
Samsung HW-Q990F
I was truly disappointed with companies not paying much heed to soundbars this year. However, Samsung was one of the few who – with the announcement of Samsung HW-Q990F – kept the buzz for soundbars alive. While many would still see it as a sidekick to your TV, I believe the Samsung HW-Q990F has more to offer. According to Samsung, the soundbar delivers an 11.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos experience, complete with 11 front-facing speakers, a subwoofer, and four up-firing audio channels, making it a true powerhouse for your audio setup.
Lockly Styla Designer Handlebar Video Smart Lock
Functioning as a video camera, AI doorbell and smart lock, Lockly’s latest smart home gadget, Lockly Styla Designer Handlebar Video Smart Lock was the one to look out for. The biggest USP of the smart lock is its design which mimics the shape of a door handle. This feature allows the lock to blend seamlessly with your door without disturbing the aesthetics. On the tech front, the lock features a 2K video camera with color night vision, sends an alert to your phone when someone approaches the door, and lets you open and close it with a simple tap on your phone. On top of that, it integrates seamlessly with Apple Watch, Siri, Apple Home Keys, Google Assistant, and Alexa, making it a highly versatile option for smart home users.
Soundcore Rave 3S
Karaoke speakers have just broken into the scene with makers taking the crowdfunding route to check if there is enough buzz for such gadgets in the market. However, Soundcore decided to take to CES for its latest Rave 3S karaoke speaker. The speaker utilizes AI to enhance vocals, add reverb, and even remove vocals from any song for karaoke sessions. With a powerful 200-watt speaker and LED lighting, the Rave 3S can fill spaces up to 1,076 square feet, making it perfect for parties or karaoke nights.
Valerion VisionMaster Max
We take pride when our partner, who we have helped get backed on Kickstarter, steals the limelight at the biggest tech show of the year. The Valerion VisionMaster Max is a projector that raises the bar for home entertainment. With an impressive 300-inch projection, a triple-laser light source, and a 15,000:1 contrast ratio, it offers stunning visuals. Enhanced Black Level mode and Dynamic Tone Mapping ensure brightness, contrast, and color accuracy, while the patented interchangeable lens system offers flexibility for any room size. Its ultra-low 4ms input lag, Dolby Atmos audio, and smart TV integrations make it a top-tier choice for cinephiles and gamers alike.
eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20
Another vacuum cleaner that was an absolute banger at CES 2025 was the eufy Robot vacuum 3-in-1 E20. The eufy’s latest gadget seamlessly transitions between a robot vacuum, a cordless stick and a handheld vacuum, allowing for simultaneous use. Designed for both daily cleaning and spot cleaning, it offers unmatched versatility, combining the convenience of a robot vacuum with the power of a handheld stick vacuum.
LG Smart InstaView Microwave
At CES 2025, LG unveiled its Smart InstaView Microwave, a device that combines built-in cameras, sensor-based cooking, and a 27-inch HD display. It’s perfect for hands-free cooking and sharing meals on social media. Whether you are cooking or capturing ‘what’s being cooked,’ this microwave makes it easier than ever to stay connected to the digital world.
Nekojita FuFu
Yukai Engineering has been introducing cute and cushy robots over the years. This time around, the Japanese company deviated from its usual practice of huggable plushies and showcased Nekojita FuFu, a tiny minimalistic cat that sticks to your coffee mug and blows air to cool down the beverage. As per the company, “the robot uses a special Fu-ing algorithm that anthropomorphically randomizes the strength and rhythm of its blowing via an internal fan.”
Brisk It Zelos 450 Smart Grill
Brisk It introduced the first outdoor grill powered by artificial intelligence at CES 2025. The grill utilizes its Vera AI technology to enhance your grilling experience. The app allows you to scan your pantry to discover recipes based on what you have at home, or you can upload Instagram photos and get recipe suggestions. It can even accommodate dietary needs like lactose-free or spice-free dishes.
HiSense L9Q Projector
The HiSense L9Q projector is a true masterpiece, designed not only to impress with its aesthetics but also with its features. Capable of projecting up to 150 inches at an ANSI-rated 5,000 lumens, it offers vibrant visuals with 110 percent coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut, outshining many top-tier TVs. Its 6.2.2 surround sound system, supporting both DTS Virtual X and Dolby Atmos, adds an immersive audio experience. Additionally, with Google TV and an ATSC 3.0 tuner, it provides access to NextGen TV 4K broadcasts, setting it apart from many other projectors. While we’re still waiting for an official release date, the L9Q is certainly one to watch.
