In Europe, the EcoFlow PowerOcean higher-capacity grid-tied residential energy system makes this feature even better. Later this year, EcoFlow will launch a similar grid-tied whole-home solar battery solution for US users as well. Dubbed Ocean Pro, the new grid-tied system will leverage Oasis’s advanced AI capabilities.
The AI-powered home energy management system will take factors like past energy consumption, local electric rates, home solar energy generation, and weather patterns into account to offer tailored recommendations and automation. Oasis provides suggestions for enhanced energy use and can automatically put them into action with the user’s permission.
Moreover, it answers your queries to optimize energy usage. Oasis AI assistant can reply and even act on complicated queries in natural language such as “How can I maximize my solar energy usage today?” It can run high-power appliances on stored solar energy instead of drawing from the grid when the energy prices are high.
Through predictive analytics and automation to do things automatically, Oasis switches to backup power during an outage or charges up your batteries if there’s a bad weather pattern. It can also suggest, create, and set up automation to better manage your energy consumption throughout the house.
What’s interesting is that Oasis can be integrated with third-party devices such as smart thermostats and products compatible with Shelly and Matter.
