Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Bose has collaborated with Ronnie Fieg of the popular retailer brand Kith and the renowned artist Mark Jupiter to re-imagine its iconic 901 speaker
Since its debut in 1968, this statement loudspeaker has set a new standard for home audio and now the 2024 edition continues the journey
The original set of floor-standing speakers were powered by nine drivers each, eight of which face the rear for immersive output
The founder Dr. Amar Bose wanted the speaker to replicate a live concert in a living room
The new version translates his vision in modern-day context
The Kith model gets a wooden base unlike the original 901 with a metal tulip-style pedestal and the angular design of the original box is also updated with smooth rounded edges
For now, there are no clear specifications of the 2024 collaboration model
This vintage loudspeaker is re-released in limited 14 units, just for friends and family
