Halloween is right here and we can already feel the vibe and enthusiasm through larger-than-life displays adorning people’s front yards. From spooky skeletons and inflatables to giant animatronics, we have seen them all, however, nothing comes close to this movie-inspired Halloween display in Windcrest, Texas. It definitely stands out for being a fan favorite!
Inspired by a famous science fiction horror comedy of 1988, ‘Killer Klowns From Outer Space,’ the homeowners in Windcrest have gone for an elaborate Halloween display that summons the spirit of Halloween alongside terrifying clowns to the front yard.
The homeowner grew up watching the cult classic, and it took almost two months to complete the display and bring his childhood memories to life. Certainly, the end result is spectacular. If you are too scared of clowns, then you must look out for 20 animatronics and 10 to 15 other creepy characters from the movie who are bloodthirsty and full of menace.
This circus-themed clown display features animatronics with ghoulish postures that feel like they would come alive any minute and start running after you. There is a large entrance with striking lights and sign boards saying, ‘do not enter yard.’ When you enter, a ghastly clown awaits you with lit-up eyes and a crooked stance.

There is another clown with a freakish smirk holding a mini clown trapped in a cage, moving back and forth as if trying to break free. There is also a mini killer clown on the other side, holding knives in both hands, and the one with a mask is enough to instill fear among the passersby. Along with the crazy clowns, this Halloween display is adorned with ghostly pumpkins, giant Werewolf with moving eyes, life-size witches, ghosts, and skeletons entangled in spider web.
Through this movie-inspired Halloween display, the owner exhibits his love for the classic movie. There is so much to see and explore, and the more you see the better it gets. Trick-or-treaters and onlookers are going to have a hard time passing by without having their feet go cold. Overall, if there is one Halloween display that you should see, it must be the one!
