Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola has collaborated with Venice-based firm CIMENTO – known for its unique and artistic designs – for a minimalistic furniture collection with sculptural pieces made from 90 percent mineral aggregates mixed with a cement binder obtained from natural components. Dubbed the Alberoni, the furniture collection imposes sharp edges and orthogonal lines. Each furniture piece showcases colorful, layered columns, rectilinear forms, and multi-colored layering in its design.
The design of the Alberoni collection recalls the texture and hues of sedimentary rocks. The line includes a side table, coffee table, low stool, and bookcase in a wide range of oombre colors.
The small side table is designed as a space-saving solution for compact spaces. It is made in a rectilinear shape and has multi-colored layering. This table can be used in living rooms and bedrooms. Using it as a plant stand in the office or for placing lamps will give an aesthetic look to your space.
Another versatile piece of furniture is the coffee table that resonates with the other products in the line. It has light colors accompanied by pure linear shapes. The solid tabletop runs down one side to form half of the base, while the two legs are dotted in ombre shades reminiscent of a rainbow.

The oft-ignored stool gets a place in this furniture collection with distinctive features. Its shape, colors, and form echo the rest of the pieces in the line. The Alberoni bookcase is a fine piece of furniture for modern homes. It mirrors all the aspects of the rest of the collection but employs a cascading shelf design to stand apart. The minimalistic Alberoni furniture collection works well for those with limited space.
