Colorado-based Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses has introduced its latest creation, the Beatle. The 22-foot-long dwelling is a captivating tiny house characterized by its distinctive curved roofline and charming porthole windows. Built on a double-axle trailer, the Beatle tiny house is finished in stained blue cedar siding accented by vibrant red highlights.
Drawing inspiration from esteemed tiny house designers such as Baluchon and Zyl Vardos, the curved roofline adds a touch of whimsy to the exterior. To accentuate the exterior, the maker has added a fold-down deck with a removable ramp that provides easy access indoors.
Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses informs that the micro-dwelling was originally commissioned in mid-2019 by Janna, a Finnish screenwriter, who not only wanted to use the house to live in, but also use it as a prop for some of the films she was writing. In an unfortunate turn of events, the Beatle tiny home faced numerous setbacks due to the pandemic. After multiple delays, the tiny house finally made its debut last month, showcasing its unique blend of aesthetics and functionality.
This mobile abode boasts a space-saving interior layout tailored to meet the needs of its owners, who allegedly have a medical condition akin to muscular dystrophy. “She has to walk with a cane and her day-to-day movements are very limited. We worked very closely with Janna down the centimeter to ensure we optimized several measurements to accommodate her needs as best as possible,” states Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses.
As a result, the interior was thoughtfully designed to accommodate the owner’s specific physical needs. The owner required careful consideration of every detail, from shelf heights in the shower to the height of the bed platform, ensuring comfort and accessibility.
At the rear of the dwelling, a cozy living/sleeping area features a double mattress nestled within a platform bed with integrated storage. Nearby, the kitchen boasts a blend of functionality and style, equipped with a small fridge, ample cabinetry, live-edge honey locust countertops, and essential appliances including a two-burner propane stove and microwave.

Additional features include a dining table that doubles as an office desk, a wood-burning stove for warmth, and a compact bathroom outfitted with a composting toilet, shower, and petite sink. The tiny home also features a loft bedroom, accessible via a telescopic ladder from inside or through exterior hatch. It provides additional sleeping quarters for guests or can be utilized as storage space.
Designed for off-grid living, the Beatle tiny house is equipped with freshwater and greywater tanks and can be configured for solar power, offering sustainable living options for eco-conscious travelers. Despite its compact size, the Beatle commands a premium price of $85,000, reflecting the craftsmanship and attention to detail.
