Italian designer duo Roberto Palomba and Ludovica Serafini, founders of Palomba Serafini Associati, have been designing household products that blend contemporary vision with user needs. For them, “design should serve the wellbeing of humankind,” which reflects well in their creation called the DOTS; a circular, utilitarian, wall-mounted heater for the bathroom. It is designed for Italian design radiators and towel warmer manufacturer Tubes Radiatori, as part of collection ‘Elements.’
DOTS wall-mounted heater is designed to bring warmth to an intended space, advertently the bathroom. It is not extravagant to look at, however, its distinct circular shape is still a defining characteristic, making it an accessory to be admired.
Given its compact sculptural design, it blends seamlessly into the environment as an item of décor, occupying little space on the wall. Owing to its portability and modularity, you can mount the DOTS anywhere in the bathroom, and experience the warmth it provides to the space.
It is made from recycled aluminum using CNC machining that renders the DOTS environmentally friendly. Besides its visually enticing aura, the wall heater functions as a heated towel rail to warm up your towel or bathrobe you choose to hang on it. As a versatile addition to your bathroom, it is effortless to operate courtesy of the onboard on/off button. It becomes even more convenient to control remotely via a Tubes Wi-Fi thermostat.

What sets this sculptural wall heater apart from the crowd is that it can be mounted in wet areas such as the walk-in shower or above the bathtub, thanks to its low voltage consumption which makes it safe to be around water. Offering many expressions, DOTS can be used as a single piece or in multiple configurations by combining a couple of them, depending on your preference and bathroom requirement.
You can choose the DOTS wall-mounted heater, a whimsical bathroom accessory, comes in 140 RAL colors from Tubes palatte. With its sustainable and aesthetically appealing approach, you could be eager to take it home, but we do not have the pricing and availability details to share at the time of writing.
