The Karoo Adventure camper has a sleek appearance and it is lightweight. The teardrop trailer measures 16.4 feet long and has a height of 7 feet. A slide-out kitchen -integrated with a gas stove and faucet – comes in handy to let users enjoy outdoor cooking.
A wide doorway on the side allows access to the inside of the camper; it is wide enough to allow your bikes or other gear in/out as well. To load in the gear, users get two options; the wide rear hatch or the side door. The side hatch leads you into a smartly designed space that has everything you would expect from a modern toy hauler.
The Karoo Adventure camping trailer has a multipurpose floor plan that can sleep two adults and two kids. A lift-away double bed, above the foldaway lounge chairs that transform into a bed – makes this possible. A skylight above the bed maximizes the outside view and enhances the penetration of natural light inside to provide an open and lighted interior.

The bathroom can be accessed by a sliding wall with a built-in refrigerator. The wet bathroom has a shower, cassette toilet, and a cloth drying rack.

Another amazing thing about this Karoo toy hauler is that it is powered by green energy. It comes with rooftop solar panels backed by a 6 kWh lithium-ion battery that helps you enjoy your time off-grid. The energy produced, and stored onboard, is enough to power the lighting and appliances on the trailer. And if you may, you can also juice up your e-bikes on the way.
A dedicated mobile app helps you take control of the camper lighting, locks, and temperature while providing you with status updates about the trailer’s condition and location. The Karoo Adventure camping trailer weighs around 750 kg and has a payload capacity of 75 kg, which seems reasonable as it is claimed to be EV-friendly.
The pilot production of the Karoo Adventure camping trailer will start in 2025 and initial deliveries will be made in 2026. It is available for preorder on the company website at a starting price of $32,450.
