Australia-based builder Made by Bare is known for incorporating its tiny houses with thoughtful spaces and plenty of natural light while focusing on small footprints. A case in point is the Wollemi tiny house on wheels featuring two lofts and every desirable feature requisite of downsized living. Comfortable for a family of four, this tiny house could be your dream home for AUD 177,450 (roughly $117,700).

It measures 29 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 14 feet high, and boasts a light gauge steel frame exterior with customizable options in cladding from colorbond, hardwood, or recycled timber external cladding. The double-glazed aluminum windows and the sliding entry door keep the optimum airflow and let plenty of natural light inside.

The interior of the house is Earthwool insulated and finished in birch ply walls and ceilings. The open plan layout is thoughtfully constructed with a kitchen, a sunken lounge, a bathroom, and two loft bedrooms. Walk in through a large sliding door, you are greeted by a full paperock kitchen with a sink, a two-burner gas hob, countertops, cabinets, and drawers.

The builder also offers a range of appliances such as a four-burner cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, and rangehood for additional cost. On the other side, there is an under-window breakfast bar for an immersive dining experience. You get a myriad of storage in the kitchen.

The sunken lounge is on the other side of the kitchen. It features a storage-integrated, built-in L-shaped sofa and a coffee table. To make the space more welcoming, the floor-to-ceiling windows allow you a 270-degree view of the great outdoors. The bathroom is past the kitchen. Enclosed by a cavity slider door, it has a hardwood open vanity sink, a shower, and a composting toilet.

Coming back from the bathroom, we go to the larger loft accessed via a ladder from the kitchen. Accommodating a queen-size bed, the cozy room is inviting and comfortable. The second loft is smaller in size and has a queen-size bed. Both the lofts are equipped with reading lights, two down lights, and a double power point.

The Wollemi tiny house is a dreamy escape with optional off-grid facilities as well including solar panels and lithium-ion phosphate battery. Built with perfection, this tiny house could be your forever home.
