A team of designers from Milan-based architect firm Calvi Brambilla designed the modular sofa. It features three overlapping levels comprising the base, seat, and backrest, providing utmost comfort. The super-sized sofa has a wooden frame and is molded in graduated polyurethane with differentiated densities.
The sofa provides formal seating with a fixed internal nylon fabric cover, and fluffy cushions made in regenerated and regenerative polyester flakes. The cushions offer a removable outer fabric cover for easy cleaning. With no sharp edges and ends, the sofa is enhanced with noticeable curves and a clutter-free design.
Displaying extra volume, a generously sized seat offers a wide area. Secured to the seat with “pin hooks borrowed from the automotive industry”, the backrest is elongated, low, and bulky. Broad armrests that outline the whole design invite users to sit back and indulge in moments of relaxation.
