Modern, lightweight, and aesthetically attractive furniture always stays in demand. The latest Gubi Copacabana lounge chair, displaying sleek lines and speaking the language of elegance, is the latest hot furniture piece to arrive on the scene. It is a lounge chair crafted with simplicity to provide maximum comfort while adding a distinct charm to any setting.
Designed by Hungarian designer and architect, Mathieu Matégot for a global furniture design house Gubi, the chair has the impression of being crafted from a single stroke of pencil. Framed on the curved tubular form that envelops the round seat, the lounge chair’s back is made of perforated sheet metal that keeps the airflow intact and your back dry.
Angled back and cushioned seat are designed to aid comfort and enhance the seating experience. A coating of rigid and corrosion-resistant powder-lacquered steel covers the chair. Gubi lounge chair is crafted from Ritigulle, a technique that combines metal tubing with perforated sheet metal and is a signature mark of Mathieu’s work.

The basic frame of the chair is available in two noticeable hues: black and orange. Its smooth design makes it appropriate for lounging on patios, waiting areas, or inside homes. Gubi’s Copacabana Lounge Chair is available for $1,999.
