Activate your zen mode with this rustic-looking glass house that is beauty personified. It is a graceful rendering rising over a lake, standing gracefully amidst the mountains. The rustic stilted glass house, designed and envisioned by the interior and product designer Kseniia Kolesnikova, exhibits elegance and a rustic profile with an interior inspired by Japanese-style architecture that embraces warm colors and alluring aesthetics. Embodying architectural excellence, the glass house is a stunning and awe-inspiring design concept.

This long and rectangular architectural marvel has an eye-catching exterior. Part of the outer body is made of cargo containers, perfected with glass panels that bring the panorama of the outer landscape inside. The exterior is painted in a rusted metal skin inspired by small weathered fishing houses. Its structural design with stilts submerged deep into the water works as a strong foundation for the house and makes jaws drop with amazement.

We can’t help but admire its charming interior with a choice of material that makes it even more admirable. The use of inviting color tones, wood, and natural stone is enchanting, whereas, the unification of the sand terracotta palette brings a sense of tranquility and calms the senses.

Its minimalistic aesthetic and use of natural and raw materials remind us of the traditional Japanese architectural style, which has nature at its center. This design is not for pomp and show but has a livable and furnished interior with a lot of open spaces and amazingly high ceilings. Notably, the sand floor is a reminder of a traditional Japanese garden adding a touch of grace and simplicity.

The designer has cleverly divided the space to accommodate a kitchen, a living room with a tea zone, a study, a bathroom in the center, and a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is not a corner in the rustic stilted glass house that escapes the light as the front is opened up by converting it into a giant glass wall to drench the house with the goodness of nature and natural light.

Who would not love to relax and rejuvenate over a cup of tea with a sweet aroma wafting all over the place? A cozy bedroom to tuck yourself in, and an immersive outdoor view from the balcony. Although just a conceptual design, we can see this glass house materializing pretty soon.
