My mind often wanders into the future where I see myself living in a wooden cottage or tiny house in the French countryside, sipping wine, and reading my favorite novels. Back to the present; when I stumbled upon the P’tit Nid Mobile tiny house, I couldn’t help but feel getting closer to my enticing future.
P’tit Nid Mobile tiny house is a beautiful micro-dwelling loaded with natural wood and stone and features a loft bedroom, a bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, and a terrace. Created by Romain Lemonnier of P’tit Nid Mobile in Sommières, France, this tiny house on wheels looks like a charming fairytale cottage. Through heavy use of wood inside and out, the P’tit Nid Mobile tiny house seems to bring you nearer to a fairytale, romantic countryside, and woodland.
The tiny house flaunts a wooden curvature that can be seen on the exterior which is designed with a terrace, where the residents can enjoy the vast outdoors. Stepping inside, you see two staircases, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen, and ceiling arches, all made of wood and clad in a neutral palette.
One of the staircases leads to the loft bedroom and has storage underneath. The loft has a curved wall, a king-size mattress on a raised platform, a porthole window, and a closet. A living room and a bathroom are designed below the loft. The living room has a built-in bench with storage underneath.

An arched sliding door leads to the bathroom, which has a shower, sink, toilet, and a porthole window. There are plenty of storage options in the form of floating shelves and cubbies in the bathroom.
On the other side of the house, a staircase leads to the terrace, while the kitchen is cleverly designed in the spare space below. The kitchen has a two-burner cooktop, open shelving, sink, dishwasher, granite countertops, and under-counter cabinets.
