Samsung showcased an 8K ultra short-throw projector at CES 2024 – a tech highlight that many people are excited about. The Premiere 8K, deemed as the world’s first projector offers wireless connectivity, owing to a Wireless One Connect Box it comes with. This projector can display a massive 150-inch image from just 12 inches away from the wall.
The projector uses a triple-laser light source with 4,000 lumens of brightness and the 8K resolution is achieved through AI upscaling. Samsung says, the ultra-short throw projector enhances the viewing experience with a new “Sound-on-Screen” feature that makes the sound seem to come from the screen. Other cool features include cloud gaming, always-on voice control, and the ability to split the screen into four views.
As highlighted by Digital Trends, Samsung’s new Wireless One Connect Box can send images to the projector from up to 10 meters away. It neatly houses devices like streaming gadgets and DVD players, keeping wires out of sight in front of the TV.
We are eagerly waiting for the full details and specs of the projector, and CES 2024 might bring us that information. LG doesn’t offer wireless TVs yet but has recently unveiled the M4 Wireless OLED TV, which could be an attractive option for potential buyers.
