Reolink Duo 3 PoE will be showcased at CES 2024 along with the entire new line-up of security cameras by the company. Reolink Duo 3 PoE is the industry-first 16MP UHD home security camera that can create a panoramic image with little distortion by combining two images taken from slightly different angles. It is possible with the help of dual lenses and Reolink’s image-stitching algorithm. The outdoor home security camera promises to bring a 180-degree panoramic feed and footage with minimum distortion. This will allow you to have better coverage for your outdoor space.
A common issue with most home security cameras and video doorbells is the fisheye effect. This is an unfavorable consequence of their attempt to provide a wider view to cover as much of your space as possible. It’s not a particularly novel technique, and Reolink hasn’t revealed in-depth information about how its stitching technology operates.
The Reolink Duo 3 PoE is equipped with all the features required to guarantee your safety, even though it records video in a way that no other home security camera can. Its eight integrated spotlights enable features like motion detection, tracking, warnings, app compatibility, and full-color night mode.
According to Fabrice Klohoun, Marketing Manager at Reolink, “Reolink is utilizing the newest technology to make homes and offices more secure and comfortable. We are committed to creating the finest security products for consumers and business owners. We invite conference attendees to join us at CES to witness the latest advances in security solutions, including the 16MP images captured by our devices and additional capabilities of Reolink’s product offerings.”

The camera is capable of presenting the trajectory of the detected person for a convenient preview by overlaying the person’s movements over time into a single image to provide viewers with a broad overview of an event. This is an interesting feature that is hard to find in other available models.
Since it is a PoE (Power over Ethernet) camera, a network cable is required to connect it to a PoE injector. The good news is that you can install it yourself because expert installation is not required. Reolink is also planning to produce a battery-operated Wi-Fi version later this year. Meanwhile, the company has some ground-breaking models to showcase at CES, so better keep an eye on the mega tech event!
