Wilderness Vans based out of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, focuses primarily on creating camper van conversions. They design campers for a wide variety of vehicle platforms and the recent launch comprises Range series pickup truck campers: the R1 and R2 slide-in campers.
The floor plan of the Range R1 camper has two seats and sleeps up to three people. It has an expanding upper bed and dinette with storage. It also features a large rear storage cabinet and galley with a sink and stove. The camper has 19 liters of fresh water capacity and a 19-liter grey water tank. There is even a fridge in this slide-in camper. Other features include broad arrow windows, toilet cabinets, and full insulation making it an all-weather camper you to use whenever you want.
The Range R1 camper has a dark metallic grey color to its exterior and also has provision for lighting. There are integrated skylights and electric door locks. It easily fits on a 3-4 ton or larger truck with an 8-foot box and tailgate removed. It even has integrated skylights so you can enjoy natural light during the daytime and gaze at the star-studded sky when you hit the bed. It has both interiors as well as exterior lighting.

The interior of the Range R1 slide-in camper is done in green, grey, and blue colors. It gives the living space a nice, inviting aura to enhance the camping experience that is extendable for a longer duration with a 200-watt solar charging station onboard. R1 has plenty of storage space inside for the essentials, especially in the kitchen unit. There is a small cupboard for storing clothes or camping items.
I think this slide-in camper is a great choice for your truck and you can get the maximum out of the space which has been designed intelligently. If you require a bigger space, you can go for the Range R2, which tucks an expanding dinette right under the elevated bed for space to sleep an additional two people. Both the Range slide-in campers are easy to mount and remove (to install on another truck bed). And while on the go it doesn’t let you miss the comfort of home.
