When you are making a 28-foot-long tiny house, you are left with two options; either to cramp the interior with furnishing and appliances or to keep it spacious to accommodate as many people as possible. Florida-based tiny house company Movable Roots chose the middle ground and decided to build a tiny home that is capacious, yet packs all the essentials for a comfortable life. Dubbed Ward, the $150,000 tiny house does justice to the price tag courtesy of its elegant and functional interior.
The tiny house is built on a triple-axle trailer and is finished in horizontal siding that is equally complimented by windows and doors, allowing light and air inside. The micro dwelling offers just over 300 sq ft of living space and packs a gourmet kitchen, a gracious living room, a spacious bathroom, and a loft bedroom. “This home design was based off a previous Movable Roots Custom build named the Cavin and tweaked to meet the Ward’s specific needs,” mentions the company.
The main floor area is mostly taken by the capacious living room equipped with a storage-integrated couch. Above the living room is a small storage loft that houses nitty-gritty essentials. Adjacent to the living room is the L-shaped kitchen loaded with all essentials from accessories to appliances including a large sink, a two-burner induction cooktop, a full-size refrigerator, and a convection microwave.
The kitchen is accoutered with an abundance of custom cabinetry and storage options as well. Another highlight of the kitchen is the custom barn wood open shelving featuring LED light strips. Then we have the quartz countertops that extend past the cabinetry to function as a breakfast bar.

Nearby are the storage-integrated stairs leading to the main loft. Functioning as a typical low-ceiling bedroom, the loft is equipped with a double mattress that sleeps a couple of people.
The Ward tiny house also features a 30 sq ft bathroom which is quite spacious. Featuring an Incinolet toilet, a walk-in shower with beautiful subway tiles and glass enclosure, a sink, cabinetry, and shelving, the bathroom looks elegant and functional.

Nice home but at that price you’d be better off going and buying a regular standard home on the market that’s been around for a while. The purpose of a tiny house is due to prices of real estate this day and age and for someone that wants to have a place to call their own and not pay a king’s ransom for it. Most real estate if I always overpriced anyway to stay in age to where the average individual cannot afford at today’s wages and also due to greed in the world
This is again a great idea gone too far. The price is really ridiculous. Tiny home’s going the wrong way. What a shame. Biggers nit better. This builder missed the point.
OMG!
the cost of this tiny home is so high it’s not feasible to own one. It would be better to go and find a piece of land and build your own won’t house.
You’ll crazy , I can buy a regular size house for the use or lesser .. noway are you’ll serious ?
