Ghosts are scary unless they are sheet ghosts. A popular Halloween costume, the concept of bedsheet ghosts has infiltrated holiday décor as well. Taking a cue from this classic theme, I created Toby the Ghost, which is a DIY sheet ghost clay candle holder for Halloween decorations.
Made from air dry clay, this DIY Halloween sheet ghost clay candle holder can be made in under 30 minutes. Follow the instructions below and create your own army of ghost candle holders for the Day of the Dead.
Materials Needed:
- Air Dry clay
- Black Acrylic Paint
- Paintbrushes
- Craft Wire
How to Make Sheet Ghost Clay Candle Holder?
- Divide the air dry clay into two equal pieces
- Turn one piece into a cylinder and flatten the other one on a surface with a rolling pin
- Stick a craft wire in the cylindrical roll of clay at one-third of its height
- Arrange the flattened piece on top of it as if it were a sheet
- Remove the access clay from the bottom and arrange it in order to give it a sheet ghost appearance
- After leaving it to dry, paint googly eyes and a mouth on it
This one has to be the easiest clay candle holder process you’ll ever come across. So get to work and replicate my favorite sheet ghost clay candle holder this Halloween. Check out the complete video tutorial below:
