Movable Roots is not a decorated tiny house maker like Baluchon or Minimaliste but stands out to be my personal favorite. The reason behind this favoritism for the Florida-based tiny house manufacturer is their daringness to think out of the box and incorporate features like never seen before in a micro dwelling.
One of the company’s builds, The Culp tiny house meets the aforementioned requirements, courtesy of its screened front porch and a walk-in hot tub. It’s not like we’ve not seen a hot tub or screened porch in a tiny home before, but incorporating both features under one dwelling is a win-win. In addition to these features, the tiny house also has an electric fireplace and many other jaw-dropping attributes that we’d be discussing below. But first, let’s begin with the exterior.
Measuring 42 feet long, the tiny house boasts a two-tone metal exterior that is complimented by a screened-in porch. It not only offers a relaxing outdoor space to the user but also adds an aesthetic appeal to the home. From here you can enter the interior of the tiny house which includes a gourmet kitchen, gorgeous living room, main-floor bedroom, a couple of lofts, and a spacious bathroom. “The clients wanted flooring that would provide a little cushion under her feet, so this home has plank style cork flooring throughout,” mentions the company.
The user enters directly into the kitchen which includes custom cabinetry allowing ample storage for utensils and other props. It is then topped by beautiful quartz countertops which incorporate a gorgeous sink and a propane cooktop. Other range of appliances include refrigerator, stackable washer/dryer, dishwasher, and oven.
Nearby is the living room which is outfitted with a sofa that allows you to relax and watch television from the comforts of a cozy seat. Facing the sofa is the television that lies above the electric fireplace which helps the user stay warm during cold days and nights. On both sides of the fireplace are storage integrated stairs leading to the two lofts of the tiny house. Both lofts can either function as a typical bedroom or can be utilized as a home office, courtesy of a workstation with drawers that allow you to create an office environment within the comforts of home.

Moving downstairs, we have the bathroom that includes a toilet and a jetted walk-in tub (customer’s request) allowing users to bathe in peace. Because the tub occupies most of the space in the bathroom, the washer/dryer has been incorporated into the kitchen.
Finally, we have the main floor master bedroom. It is located at the rear of the house and has tons of closet space, built-in nightstands, and a custom-built storage bed. Overall, the Culp tiny house sleeps six people with ease and a lot more can be accommodated provided you add a few more mattresses.
