I always wanted a big house with a big garden where I can grow organic kitchen ingredients. But ever since I began writing about tiny houses on wheels, the idea of downsized lifestyle has certainly been very appealing. Currently, my bedroom is 150-square-foot and it still sometimes feels stuffy (to be fair, I do have a lot of junk in there). This is precisely why this compact mobile dwelling stunned me so much. Cocoa tiny house by Modern Tiny Living is a 160-square-foot abode, proving bigger doesn’t always mean better.
Built by the Columbus-based tiny house manufacturer, the 20-foot-long custom tiny house on wheels is based on the company’s popular Mohican model. Featuring an open floor plan, the Cocoa tiny house includes a living room, a full kitchen, a complete bathroom, plenty of storage options, and a bright loft.
The exterior is clad in cocoa-colored LP vertical Smart siding and has a sturdy steel roof. The entire house is bathed in natural light thanks to a myriad of windows and a glass front door.
Inside, the living room features a convertible couch with three drawers that can turn into a bed instantly to sleep one person, if need be. A small open shelf along the wall helps display books and plants in style. There is a small breakfast bar next to the doubling as a workspace.

The kitchen of Cocoa tiny house is compact with mid-size appliances but still allows you to cook tasty meals while you are out exploring the world in your mobile home. It features custom cabinetry, butcher block countertops, an under-mount stainless steel sink, a two-burner propane cooktop, a microwave, and a mini-fridge.
Opposite the kitchen is a hanging clothes closet with shelving and a mirror. Along the wall is a residential-style bathroom tucked behind a custom sliding barn door. It features a fiberglass shower with a glass door, a flush toilet, and floating shelves. There is no vanity sink or washer/dryer hookup, but I am certain these features can be added upon request.

Overhead is a large loft bedroom that is accessible via a storage-integrated staircase. The loft features a king-size bed, drawers, and cubbies to store things. Needless to say, the Cocoa tiny house undeniably attests that you do not need a big house to live comfortably.
