Come 2025, Bang & Olufsen would be 100 years. The Danish consumer electronic company is renowned for its classy audio and home entertainment products, and its latest innovation Beosound Theatre speaks volumes about the brand’s legacy. But, before they celebrate the centennial event, the company has introduced a premium soundbar, which they are promoting as a product “years in the making and made for years to come”.
Recently unveiled at IFA 2022, Beosound Theatre delivers surround sound and boasts a fancy design. We’ll get to the design aspect later, and majorly talk about the technical stuff first.
Made for your smart TV, the Dolby Atmos soundbar is loaded with 12 speaker drivers in different directions and two custom-made, long-stroke 6.5-inch woofers to blast omnidirectional sound. Bang & Olufsen is claiming these woofers are the biggest to be found in any soundbar to date. Shooting more claims, the company says Beosound Theatre delivers 800-watts of amplification power, providing up to 112dB sound pressure level.
That’s just the technical stuff, the first glance at the soundbar will make you appreciate its beautiful design. You have option to choose the soundbar with a wooden or fabric cover. The soundbar with fabric cover will cost $6,890 while the other one will be available for $7,990 on October 3rd.

Style and sustainability go hand in hand with this high-end soundbar as it attaches to the base of the television effortlessly.
