Designed by Zhe Gao, ‘Sharing Joy’ is a lounge chair featuring an O-shaped space or what I like to call, the ‘cat tunnel’ in its backrest for cats to lounge alongside humans.
Cats are known for curling up while sleeping. This thought is also the inspiration behind the design as the tunnel helps these little felines crawl. In addition to curling, cats can even play with a suspended toy inside the hollow backrest and keep themselves busy. This O-shaped space can further be utilized to store magazines and books, in case you don’t have a pet at home.
While cats choose to keep themselves busy playing and curling, the owner of the chair can enjoy reading a book and sipping coffee alongside sitting on a chair. If you are pondering how to accommodate a coffee mug and a book on a small chair; don’t worry you need not keep these items on your lap as the chair comes with a side table to place your accessories. Apart from functioning as a counterpart to the chair, the side table also serve as a platform for cat to jump

Boasting soft product edges and simple geometric shapes, the Sharing Joy lounge chair features a steel frame made of pipe bending and welding. Covering the steel frame is a blue color upholstery which makes the overall design really pleasing to the eye.
