As long as you don’t binge-watch on Netflix, Hisense PX1-PRO TriChroma Laser Cinema Projector is what you should take home this summer. I don’t say it is one of the best projectors on the market, although I can assure you the projector is worth considering as it casts 90 to 130-inches images in 4K when placed a few inches from the wall.
These are perhaps the five best Ultra Short Throw 4K projectors available right now, but when we plan to expand the list, Hisense PX1-PRO TriChroma will make the cut. The 20lbs ultra-short-throw projector delivers a high-quality cinematic experience without bogarting space thanks to its 20-inch wide and 13-inch deep form factor. The compact projector rests on adjustable feet.
The PX1-PRO TriChroma uses pure red, green, and blue lasers to achieve new levels of color performance and is built around Hisense’s TriChroma laser engine that helps create vibrant colors with deep contrast. Not to forget, Hisense PX1-PRO brings 4K ultra-high-definition resolution by virtue of around 8 million pixels for clarity. It also offers 2,200 lumens peak brightness which makes it possible for the user to use it even during day time.
I am not the only one praising or gloating about the 4K laser projector. Customers on Amazon also have their say on the new age magic lantern. An Amazon user said, “The PX1-PRO has me blown away at the difference in the color spectrum the tri-laser provides. I was very happy with my Dell 5K lumen PJ, but wanted to pick up my “holy grail” of PJs with three lasers. My only concern was the brightness, but this looks just as bright.”

Mostly the Hisense offering has received positive reviews on Amazon where it is being sold for $3,450 but there have also been some critics. An Amazon user informs, “Speakers are not terrible but not great either. A separate sound system would rather have been better.”
“My main concern is; HDMI ports are too close together, so if you don’t use the Android TV like me, because of missing apps from their store and go with say a firestick, it’s too bulky to allow the second HDMI port to be used,” the user added. Well, Hisense might have to look into this, if it plans on competing with the likes of Philips Screeneo U4.
