“It feels like a home coming,” said the renowned Belgian designer and architect Vincent Van Duysen reflecting on his latest 01 homeware collection for Zara Home. Inspired by Van Duysen’s desire to dive into archives, the collection revisits some of his most iconic pieces and styles while drawing on his design ethos and DNA.
Vincent has teamed up with Zara Home for its maiden collection that not only adds aesthetic value to your house but also elevates your home furnishing status. The collection is designed as homecoming to some of the Belgian designer’s earliest ideas he used in past productions. “The dimensions, sensorial aspects, the look and feel all reflect my work,” states Van Duysen.
Featuring armchairs, sofas, tables, lighting, ceramics, and textiles alongside various other accessories, the collection breathes life into the entire home. Here we look at the wooden chair, sofas, and rug that stand out to me in the entire collection.
Starting with the wooden armchair, it is a play of textures between the leather weave, oak frame, and seating cushion. It is available in natural wood with brown leather and a sophisticated version in black wood and leather.
Another highlight of the collection is sofas that are reminiscent of typical British couches. Boasting generous and comfortable shapes, the sofas are available in a combination of natural fabrics such as linen and cotton.

Zara Home’s new collection also includes rugs inspired by textures and tones of Van Duysen’s first home in Antwerp. Mingling with any interior, these carpets were knotted in India.
The collection also includes chairs, stool, block side tables, and coffee tables – all inspired by the Belgian designer’s past works. All the items will soon be available to order online at Zara Home.
