GlammFire returns to the Milan Design Week 2022 with a new Contour bioethanol fireplace. Designed by Christophe de Sousa, it is a minimalist bioethanol fireplace characterized by its simplicity, clean lines, and monochromatic color palette that contributes to the serenity of any space. Its slightly inclined shape is also a major highlight that, when turned toward the user, creates a kind of relationship between them.
Equipped with an EVORound burner with Crea7ionEVOPlus technology, it is an environmentally-friendly fireplace as it uses a green fuel for combustion. Besides this, Contour comes with 360-degree rotation capability that allows users to fully enjoy the comfort and warmth of the flames.
The designer explained, “During my first visit to the company I was impressed by the technology of the round bioethanol burner developed by GlammFire. The idea was to create an element that surrounds the burner, something that is present but does not detract from the flame. This is how we came up with the name Contour that describes this idea, an element that embraces and surrounds GlammFire’s burner technology.”
The Contour fireplace is a fusion of lacquered stainless steel and high temperature-resistant glass. It truly looks like a tube cut at an angle that gives it a unique appearance. Each unit has a 10L fuel tank and can run for 15-25 hours. It provides 2-4 kW output, which denotes the amount of heat produced by the fire.

The Contour fireplace is also available in another version that comes with a similarly shaped chimney. Both the fireplaces will attract architecture and interior design aficionados.
