Kohler has been leading the way when it comes to modern faucets, sinks, showers, and other bathroom products. In collaboration with Phyn it has now introduced two smart water leak monitors to make water management more convenient for households. These include the DIY H2Wise and the H2Wise+ Pro with an automatic shut-off feature.
Both the products make use of Phyn’s patented, high-definition pressure wave analysis to monitor water flow and consumption. They notify the user about any water leakage in the home. Users even also receive detailed insights about water usage by each fixture on the companion app.
The DIY H2Wise smart water monitor is designed to fit under the sink and a homeowner can install it easily. It is connected to the angle stops that supply hot and cold water to the faucet. The monitor can even notify users with a pre-freeze warning.

On the other hand, the H2Wise+ smart water monitor has the same functionality as the DIY model but it is installed by professionals at a water main, either inside or outside the home. It can help minimize damage through an automatic water shutoff feature.
The collaboration between Kohler and Phyn has resulted in high-tech smart water monitors for homes. As reported by TechHive, The H2Wise is available for $400 while the H2Wise+ for about $667.
