iRobot Corp., a renowned manufacturer of home cleaning robots has launched the Roomba j7+ robot vacuum. Powered by iRobot Genius 3.0 Home Intelligence and featuring intuitive facets like a built-in lighted camera; this robotic vacuum cleaner is designed to clean the home without disturbance from any obstacles in its path. It can recognize and avoid cords and even pet waste using PrecisionVision Navigation.

The Roomba j7+ robot learns best path to navigate floors, remembers specific rooms and certain furniture units. When it identifies an obstacle, it will send a photo to the iRobot Home App where the user can instruct the robot to avoid or clean around the obstacle. The Roomba j7+ understands cleaning preferences and rules over time, plus responds to user feedback to learn how to react in the future.

The robot vacuum learns habits to provide personalized schedules, and it even suggests an extra clean when your area’s pollen count is high or during pet shedding season. There is also a quiet mode that shuts down vacuuming components when the robot is not in its active cleaning job. Furthermore, it can start cleaning automatically and stop after finishing the instructed cleaning job per location of the connected phone.

On the other hand, the version without the Clean Base starts at $649 at the official website.
