Hanging tree tents suspended above the ground or water, make for a safer canopy, and are a new trend in camping. Looking into the demand, a Canadian company Opeongo has introduced the AERIAL A1 tree tent.
After being successfully crowd-funded on Kickstarter and shipping appropriately thereafter, Opeongo is back with the second round of pre-orders for the inventive tent, which can now be ordered directly from its official website.
AERIAL A1 is lightweight portable shelter that creates a stable, horizontal sleeping surface when suspended between two trees with the help of high tensile webbing straps. Its slackline-inspired suspension system with four connection points, along with tension and two spreader bars, creates a sturdy shelter.
There is lack of pressure points that allow moving or sleeping in different positions, like on your back, side, or even on the stomach. Just in case there aren’t any trees available in the spot you’ve picked to relax overnight, the AERIAL A1 can also be set up as a standard camping tent.
On the inside, the tent has three internal pockets, removable fly and also makes single pole setup possible. Featuring high-quality buckles and plenty of accessories to make your life comfortable in the outdoors, this shelter can be effortlessly set up in under six minutes.
