BenQ has added two new models to its array of 4K ultra short throw (UST) projectors. The new V7000i and V7050i have 4K UHD resolution with HDR-PRO technology supported by HDR10 and HLG. Both the projectors deliver visually impressive pictures even in a well-lit room thanks to each of the 8.3 million pixels in the image it projects.
These 4K UST projectors offer 1.3 times more color volume than other laser TVs in the same class with an image size greater than 100-inches, the company claims. BenQ’s CinematicColor technology further makes colors rich and gradients fine, while it has impressive 98-percent coverage of DCI-P3.
The HDR-PRO technology brings HDR10 and HLG support and dynamic tone mapping that adjusts image contrast and brightness levels automatically, plus the projectors include Filmmaker Mode for image accuracy. There are built-in speakers for an immersive home cinema experience.

The projectors can be connected to an external sound system via dual HDMI 2.0 and SPDIF ports. Other highlighting features include an integrated automatic eye protection sensor, sunroof and dust-reducing louver design.
With a stylish, contemporary design and Google-certified Android TV integration, the V7000i and V7050i UST projector are strong contenders in the segment of 4K UST projectors.
