An afternoon power nap is essential to recharge your mind and body. Especially in this lazier work-from-home routine, it offers you energy to easily tackle the second half of the day.
To make power naps at work more meaningful than just dropping your head on the table, Unnecessary Inventions, a design project of Matt Benedetto based in Burlington Vermont, has created PowerNap Desk that flips over into a comfy bed.
This desk is innovatively designed to allow users to flip their workstation into a comfortable daybed for napping. The workstation cum daybed is made from a wooden board tabletop that sits atop metal legs supported by wooden frames.
The table is assembled using 3D printed brackets for easy locking and unlocking of the desk. For converting the desk into a daybed, you need to unhook the latches and flip it over. The table now easily turns into comfy bedding. On this side of the table, you’ll find an attached mattress that’s comfortable enough to enjoy a quick nap.
