There are a variety of TVs out there yet there is a wide scope for projectors in home entertainment. Samsung Electronics is hoping to take on this opportunity with the launch of its Premiere 4K Ultra Short Throw laser projector. This new laser projector blends into a variety of interior settings – thanks to compact design and fabric finish around its edges. Set up is easy, and it can be placed near a wall, which minimizes hindrance in projection.
Jongsuk Chu, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics said,
The Premiere re-imagines the home cinema experience with an all-new, compact design, 4K picture quality and big sound for tight spaces that can be used for any at-home activity and living room arrangements.
The South Korean tech company has announced the projector as latest addition to its award-winning Lifestyle TV lineup, which includes The Serif, The Frame, The Sero and The Terrace. There will be two variants available: 130- and 120-inch models – LSP9T and LSP7T respectively. Both models support laser-powered 4K picture resolution.
The Premiere LSP9T is entitled as the world’s first HDR10+ certified projector with triple laser technology. LSP7T seems like a lower version but there aren’t many specifications revealed yet. Both the models support the Filmmaker Mode and are equipped with Samsung’s Smart TV platform and apps. Furthermore, there are powerful built-in woofers and Acoustic Beam surround sound to enjoy the best home cinema experience without any additional accessories.
